Life in the famous fast lane may look like fun but stardom isn’t happening for most of us. Being a celebrity has perks, travelling to exotic places, dining at posh restaurants and loving fans shouting your name. It’s great, but not one most people are fortunate enough to get. You may not be a celebrity, but could have a great time working for one. Stars need help too and providing that support may lead to successful businesses and brands. Some careers in working for a celebrities and advice for success:

Publicist

Becoming famous is tough, but staying famous is a major task. A good publicist worth their salt continually keeps clients under the spotlight, as talent only gets you so far, and publicists are responsible for managing public images, developing social media campaigns and publicity, issuing, media and press alerts, event recaps about client events and happenings besides securing interviews with media. A publicist’s job is to assist with the celeb’s public image.

Studio manager

Working around celebrities who aren’t human can be just as exciting. A Madame Tussaud’s studio manager  creates experiences to mimic real life, brings fans closer to celebrities, music stars and athletes, performing hair touch-ups, makeup, and wardrobes of celebrities to portray their lives realistically.

Stars love good food and those who will prepare it for them. If you like baking or cooking, working as a celebrity chef could be your dream job. Developing creative and tasty menus based on dietary and nutritional restrictions, cooking visually pleasing dishes, and catering for celebrity events and parties is not a cakewalk, but has a lot of pressure, as celebs are genuinely picky.

Makeup maven

Makeup artists are part of the celebrity entourage, ensuring stars look their best on/off screen. Experts advise budding makeup artists wanting to build celebrity clientele that stars are just people, so share your story and try to know them. Becoming a go-to artist takes time by building personal relationships or through social media.

Comedian

All celebrities love to slow down and enjoy a good joke now and then and being a comedian to the stars bringing celebs to tears after fits of laughter and enjoying every minute, is a great job. Treat them with the respect they deserve, and don’t put them on a pedestal or treat them like gods. They are regular people with a talent and passion for hard work and discipline

Social Media Coordinator

Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat enable celebrities to connect with fans, leading to booming business for stars and their brands. Celebrities and influencers post updates, ads for on-going projects, and partnered products. Knowing what resonates with viewers on social media while sticking to the celebrity’s brand image is a given for a social media role and Communication is key while working with influencers and celebrities as the content also has to be carefully sanitized.

Beauty expert

Providing hands-on treatments and skin care advice to fashion icons, besides providing aesthetician, micro-blading, skin-care and makeup services to star clients to help them appreciate their personal beauty, is important as everyone is different and perfectly imperfect.

Dog trainer

Celebrities expect the best for their pets without exception, preferring the use of experts. Loving dogs is a prerequisite for being a celebrity pet trainer, with the ability to service clients at the drop of the hat.
